You will usually damage your wiring and connectors overtime.
All those people online who say "Oh don't worry I've been doing it for years" don't realize they've damaged their connectors and wiring. If you have beefed up wiring and HD connectors then it'll be fine but stock stuff isn't made for 100W.
What do I mean by damage? You'll damage the insulation of the wiring it gets more brittle because of heat the connectors will oxidize and create more resistance.
