guys (and girls, if applicable),
What do you think of making a CAI out of spectre parts? I was thinking of doing the short ram, and then I thought I would like to keep the air even cooler than it would be in the stock filter position, so I was thinking of using the spectre intake kit that has a long piece, and 45, 20, 33 degree angles where needed to place the filter somewhere near the grille/headlight, so that the air it's sucking would be cooler. Then I realized that's pretty much a CAI. heh..
Any thoughts?
Also, what would be the benefit of using the slightly more expensive spectre filter, the one with the hole in the end, that supposedly creates an air vortex for better atomization (i believe nepaforte's photo shows that one)?
