the filter I got was a spectra, and inside of it is a rubber insert.. take out the rubber insert and the filter will slide up over the intake hose where it has the flex ribs.
just run the filter up flush with one of those and then clamp it down.
it should work perfectly that way.
maybe I'll post some pictures later today to explain myself better.
