I tried this mod out... It does sound pretty sweet when in second gear, but I took it off the following day. I noticed that there was less filter medium when I took it off (I hope it was a defective spectre part or something that all filters go through)... Other than that, the filter sits in a warm engine compartment w/ no heat shield, the stock tubing is a little bit too flexible, and thus, I don't feel confident that the filter will be permanently attached. By tightening the clamp you are actually warping the stock tubing... just a few thoughts...
ps: I would love to see a Dyno to see if it actually does increase performance or maybe it's just in my head...
