dont have experience with lg, but if you are looking to pull music off the phone (ie like a usb drive) there should be an option on the phone settings where it'll ask you:

USB Connectivity:
'Mass Storage Device'
'Charge Only'
'PC Data Transfer'

something along those lines, try to select mass storage device and see what happens.

be sure to have a memory card in the phone and have a proper USB cable (ive had issues with ipod connectivity due to the cable)

If you have bluetooth set up you should be able to listen to music by pressing the AUX button on radio. You dont need the USB cable.

^^^^ Gonna check into this one. I have had my 2010 Forte for just over a year and I've been using the auz port next to the USB port to play music from my phone with a little 6inch aux chord from RadioShack.

I just purchased a Sonato for my wife and this option works on her car by pairing my phone to her car. Give me 15 minutes and I'll know for sure.

I tried the 2 suggestions but neither worked, on the phone I can go the SD card settings but it only has option to use it for mass storage or not. When I try to share songs from phone with bluethooth it tries then says file not sent

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

Pretty sure that you will need the direct chord for this to work. I tried the bluetooth connection and it only worked for my phonebook. Good luck. Seems we missed out on this feature with the 2010 model.
