Default Removing front seats ???

Hey All. Got a quick ? . Over the years iv'e install a dozen or more amps under driver and pass. seats. On new cars with seat air bags. Do i just unplug the air bag harness at the seat and remove the seat or do i have to disconnect the cars battery first...Thanks

Just took mine out and put them back in this month. No need to disconnect the battery. All you have to do is unplug the 4 connectors that plug into the bottom of the seat. They all come out of the carpet in one bundle then split off with 3 of the connectors in yellow conduit and the other connector in a black conduit, if I remember right. One of the yellow connectors has a little black lock on the backside that you have to pull back (about 1/8 inch, but not completely out).

And obviously, your airbag light will be on until you put the seats back in. I drove around with one seat for a month. It was actually pretty nice!!
