Default Likin' it

Just installed both bushing sets in my US-model 2010 Koup SX 6spd. Short list of things to expect:

Pros: Less side-to-side play (esp. in gear), shifts feel more directional and not as crooked and sloppy as stock, added rigidity is nice to have in general.
Cons: Shifter notchy-ness is more pronounced, each gear's "wall" is a little more noticeable as you shift through it. Synthetic gear lube (haven't added my Redline MT-90 yet... where do I even pour the stuff?) might help here.
Other thoughts: Base bushings didn't make much difference -- the metal sleeves in the stock bushings seemed to serve a similar purpose as these solid aluminum bushings -- but they did help, as advertised. Hope they don't make the guys at the dealership hesitate to honor the tranny warranty! Took three weeks to arrive and two weeks for a reply from KJB explaining that their transition to Google checkout caused the delay.

There's one difference worth noting in this specific model: the larger cable bushing is pushed back nearer to the firewall than in the pictures. It's also at a slight angle away from you, making it more difficult to work with.

What I ended up doing was sliding the lower half of the bushing on the pin first, then pushing the shifter linkage down on top of it to force the lower half into place. For the upper half -- which was the hard part -- I set it on top, used a crowbar due to its curved end to get a good angle (facing away from me remember), then gave it a couple good whacks with a hammer to force it down and sandwich the linkage between the two halves. Worked like a charm; put the metal plate on top and tapped the pin back into place.

I like mine as well, dealer didnt mention anything negative about them when replacing my transmission last month...
I had synthetic fluid in mine (add through drain hole till it leaks out then replace plug) didnt notice a difference but nice to have anyways.
KJB seems to take forever on most of their orders mine clocked in at 1.5 months (xpresspost my a$$)

Ordered mine on Monday and still haven't received an email notifying me of the shipment. I sent them an email yesterday morning and still haven't heard anything. Poor customer service with these guys...I'm not impressed. I received my TWM short shifter in 2 days! and I have a new shift boot awaiting installation. I'm not waiting 1.5 months for these damn bushings. Maybe I should cancel my order and just order the TWM bushings instead.

FYI everyone! DO NOT ORDER FROM KJB Motorsports!!!!!!!!!!

It's now the end of September, I still haven't received any packages in the mail, nor have I had any responses to multiple emails I have sent, nor have I received any responses to my phone calls!!!!!

Just a recap, it's been about 4 months since I originally placed my order. Shittiest company I have EVER dealt with. Highly recommended to NOT deal with these guys.

I lucky figured that out before I placed my order. E-mailed them, Called them and no responces at all. So glad the Google check out did not work for me.
