Just find a boot or grommet and slide it thru w/ something else. Possible thing that come to mind are the hood release cable. Don't recall how accessible that grommet it but there are some available. You could always drill a hole and install a grommet as well.
end up what i did was i slide a rubber protective sleeve on top of the white wire and fed it thru the gap between the top part of the fender and body. then there's a rubber grommet right underneath the driver's door hinge and i poke a hole then fed the wire in then solder the white wire with the rest of the circuit.
another short cut was i didnt took off the bumper to install the fogs. since i've access to a hoist i simply loose off the protective cover from underneath the car and slide the grill and the fog in. the right hand side is a bit tricky since the washer fluid container in the way so i slide the fog in first THEN the grill.
also since the washer fluid container is in the way u cant really tighten the top right screw on the fog. so i loosen off the bolt which holds the fender on the RF wheel well and pull the bumper towards myself a little, then fit my screw driver inside to tighten it.
no big deal we all made it happen! great thanks for the DIY
"You will need 6 additional crews to mount the lights (3 each side). I used self tapping screws the exact same size as the stock ones. They screwed right into the mounting holes. "

What size are the screws that you used?
just go to that kia wholsale parts website and buy the fog light screws

Why? No sense spending the inflated rate the dealer is going to charge for a universal screw. Just pull one of the ones in there now out and run up to the hardware store and match.
Do you know where I can get the multifunction switch that has the foglight control in it? I need a new one as it is because I need to replace mine as it is since my son broke mine. I also want to have the foglights connected to it.
Okay, did the install on my '11 Koup today. Had a heck of a time due to the heat, but other than that it went okay. But a couple of things I want to add for those who come after.
The screws you want to mount the lights to the inserts are #10 x 3/4". $1.99 for a pack of six stainless ones at Frank's Auto Supermarket.
Required tools are stubby #2 Phillips screwdriver, 8mm and 10mm sockets and a 3" extension. Painters tape to protect the paint and a 1 or 2" flexible thin bladed putty knife to pop the clips. Beer and a good CD in the garage boombox is recommended but not 100% necessary.
The little plate with the grommet shown in the first post to the right of the master cylinder vac assist unit to run the white wire through does not exist on the 2011 Koup. There is a cutout for it in the sound dampener pad, and one of the two studs is there, but no access into the interior of the cabin. Have to find another way in. I'm not 100% happy with the route I took, and may revise it at a later date. I ran up the drivers side fender, alongside the hood hinge, into and behind the door gasketing to under the dash. It's visible when the door is open, and kinda ghetto, but I had to get everything buttoned back up in time to go pick up the kid from his Grandparents.
Anywho, I think it turned out well, thanks to this post and the bumper removal video. Thanks to all who have posted in these threads on how to add the OEM Fogs and especially to HaddyTech for selling me his lights, inserts, harness and pigtails! All I needed to add was the screws and the Add-a-circuit fuse doohickey.

sje is pretty much on the button, going to come down to personal preference and what is available at the moment you're in the store. Just make sure they are #10 x 3/4 or 1" self tapping screws. Don't go any longer than 1" or you will break through the face. 1" may be iffy in that respect actually, I used 3/4 and had plenty of bite.
When it comes to the self tapping, your options will most likely be limited to round head phillips or hex head (sheet metal screws). Again, doesn't matter what the head style is, the threads are what matters.

Has anyone used the factory fog light switch with this install ? I have a new turn signal stalk with the fog light switch built in. I need any information about the steering wheel removal for the Koup. I really do not want the air bag to blow in my face. I have searched the internet with no luck for bag removal from the Koup. Have done it on other cars but some have different procedures then then others.
Thanks.
