$35 DIY Audi headlight mod

Thanks Pharoh for the DIY. helped a lot! I do have a question (or 3 lol) i used the wire taps correctly because otherwise they wouldn't be lighting. I wired them into the blinker/warning/parking lights instead, just fyi. I couldn't see a difference which pos/neg set i went into, but as i put the headlight housing back into the body of the car i lost 3 diodes on the left strip, .._................_ _ any reason why i would lose these? Should i buy another set? They were checked and worked correctly out of box. I'll upload a picture soon.

just installed them, they look great other than the fact that when i put the lights in parking mode, the DRL stay on and they arent white but more yellow and it looks bad, is there a way to disable the DRL when im parking mode? i have switchbacks, so is there a way to just have the strips and the switchbacks on

like the look but not a fan of them being on the outside of the headlight... seems like eventually they are gonna just peel off...

I just got a set of 24 inchers and will instal them as true drl's
i will be using a spdt relay to turn them off when park lites come on
(dot approved method) as soon as i get it done, i will let all know how it works

this will be the 1st mod i go for! im gonna head to advanced auto since i seen they have them there, snatch up some caps/taps and electrical tape.. i dont exactly have the $ for the oznium ones right now after ordering LEDs for my cupholders so these will do for now. ill post em up when im done!
