Been done. Search around for it. It took a bit of cutting and grinding.

thank you so much!! i was extra careful...no tabs broken!! idk if you guys saw...but if you pop out the tabs from the outside moving in, you'll see the tab that easily gets broken from the top of the mirror....just used a flathead and got it out! but thanks for the post....no more ambers on a blue car lol
