Fog Light DRL Mod

Did the following Fog light drl mod:

Fog lamp mod for DRL...


I have been experiencing issues where one fog (both left and right) would not turn on randomly, most times both go on.

I do have HIDS with a relay harness installed.




Anyone else have this problem? Is there another connection point I could short the fogs to?

It's not the connection point if one is firing, that signal is getting sent to the relay to tell it to turn on, and then feed the power from the battery.

Maybe try it without the short mod, and just use the switch for a few days and see if you get the same results.

What kind of ballasts did you use?

I have Slim digital ballast - off make (same as low beams that have no problems)
