1. First you need to take off the grill (or front clip as some have done).
I have circled the spots were the factory grill has the screws located on top and inside the grill that need to be removed to access the horn area. horn install-1 by RAmable, on Flickr horn install-2 by RAmable, on Flickr
2. I mounted the dual horn on the two available holes on the frame. I shared the one hole with the existing support bracket for the hood latch. horn install-3 by RAmable, on Flickr
You will need to locate one more screw that is the same size as the shared hood latch screw. I found that the screw hardware pack for license plates is the ideal size.
3. You can use the mounting bracket that comes with most aftermarket horns or make your own. I needed to make my own in order to have the red side of the horn facing out. I found the ideal metal pieces in a pack of cabinet/door hangers and they were stupid cheap horn install-4 by RAmable, on Flickr
Just bend them as you need to place the horns were you want them to sit and drill out the holes. horn install-5 by RAmable, on Flickr horn install-6 by RAmable, on Flickr horn install-7 by RAmable, on Flickr
4. Wiring can be done which ever way you desire. The stock horn relay is rated at 20 amps so it was more than sufficient for these 15 amp recommended dual horn set. I tapped into the black and white stock wires right at the plug end for the stock horn using tap connectors. horn install-11 by RAmable, on Flickr
I have drawn on the next photo to show a better wiring layout than what I did. I was in a hurry and when making this guide I thought up a better way to run them. horn install-8 by RAmable, on Flickr
The wolo horns don't matter what prong is positive and what is negative just as long as you wire up each one. The cleanest wiring would be to splice a wire into two plugs for the positive and for the negative from the wire taps.
This was my wire job and you can see it gets messy after so many connections. You can't really see it after I taped it all up with electrical tape afterwards. horn install-9 by RAmable, on Flickr horn install-10 by RAmable, on Flickr
I did exactly the same install, but did not remove the grill. Just remove the 4 fasteners along the top and bend the grill back. Stick something in there to hold it back. Plenty of room to install the horns and do the wiring.
Great photos and write up.

Got to enjoy them yesterday when some idiot drove into the traffic circle without looking and cut me off. They sure jumped when I layed on the horn.
I live in Tucson, az., and with all the snowbirds arriving I knew I needed some more horn, so I dug in my shed, and lo and behold there was a set from a VW cabriolet I parted out. I went in from the bottom, made a bracket, wired them up and I now have a real horn!
