Default Shift Boot for 2011 Auto

Made a red stitched shift boot for the auto. Took the RX-8 boot on ebay, did some cutting, stitching and gluing and you see what the outcome is below. I have yet to put the elastic bands back into the boot, so putting it into "sportshift mode" is difficult (I half to pull up a little bit on the leather). Overall I am very pleased with the results. It took about 30 minutes or so. My mom did most of the work, the sewing part. I spent less than $30. I bought an extra stock shift boot to use just in case I screwed it up (that was $19).

Supposedly I hear the boot I bought would fit the shifter with no mods. My boot still does not fit quite right (there is a piece of leather on the left side that is doubled up and too thick to snap into place) but at a quick glance, it is not too noticeable.
