Just a heads up if you are buying from eBay. Dont buy anything from kdmsource.1735.
I bought a K steering wheel emblem from them. After a month of waiting i messaged him and asked where it was. He then answered my question with a question. He was rude and i had to fight for a refund. He adverts fast shipping because he is a US seller but he orders from Korea and then ships from his location. I advise you dont do business with him.

yeah thanks! I was going to order some K emblems from them, cause they're US based, but decided not to. Went with jaygonmall or something like that. Good thing I didn't!

glad to get the warning about that guy---
and yes- that jaygonmall guy is pretty good based on my 1 deal with him so far (even gave discount for getting center caps, steering wheel, front and back trim all together)

Yeah, I do not conduct business with drop shippers. They are almost "always" more expensive anyway and tend to have longer wait times on shipping.
Spend the extra time to researching a company thoroughly before purchasing. Hell, you and I could make an Ebay store name up and take peoples money, order the items from the real company and ship them out for a small profit.

ok- can you help me out here- how can you tell if an ebayer is a drop shipper? i went to that guys website- and didnt see anything different than any other ebay site i've gone to......?
i am sure that this info can help others out also.
Drop Shipping/Shippers do not have the inventory in stock, that costs money for retail or warehousing space to distrbution channel fees. They generally reorder for you through the manufacturer or regional distributor, hence the markup.
Oops, I misread your post Joey, sry.

lol- its all cool........ reason i asked- was that all of that guys posts on ebay say "in stock -ready for shipping " or something like that........
what you just posted- i am sure clears up things for anyone out there reading- that didnt know what drop shipping was- and was scared to asked- lol
now-if i could just figure out how diggs figured out that http://www.forteforums.com/forums/eb...urce.1735%252F
is a drop shipper- that will help out a lot also

Well, the easiest way that I have found is to make sure the seller has the item in stock. Sometimes, that is hard to do on Ebay though, because the seller can just lie to you. I have discovered that "reputable registered vendors" on forums are the most reliable and that's where I do most of my purchasing from. There's really no sure-fire way to detect them all. Buyers just need to take their time and do research before purchasing. Personally, I feel that this forum needs more vendors, the owner just needs to go get them. Members need to put out the word about this forum as well. Word travels fast and getting more comapnies involved here will make this place "explode" in terms of business, and site traffic.

according to ebay- the kdmsource.1735 guy has good ratings.... he says he has everything in stock........
that korean guy that a few of us have dealt with- jaysonmall or something like that.....if he could get the stuff we want and keep maintaining his standards of customer service that he has shown to those in here that have bought his stuff....he could quite possibly be keeping busy for a while if he sells all of these things that a lot of us are looking for and keeps his service record up.
for example- LED door sills, various lighting (interior/exterior)
configurations, numerous body kits, shift knobs, and so on......
i guess what was lurking behind all of my earlier posts about all the "other" stuff(dealers) out there is why are they not willing to jump into the trade with all these other countries that have the cerato/koup/forte..that are on this forum?
by my count- we got north america, south america, caribbean, middle east, russia, singapore, oceania, south africa.......there is quite possibly the largest source of kias running around in here....but its not being tapped.........
