Well, it's official. As of Tuesday afternoon I will no longer be part of the Forte community. I would like to thank everyone on here for their contribution here, especially noodile, Big_E, and everyone else who ever posted a guide on how to do anything to the Forte.
I'd also like to send a huge shout out to Jesse @ TurboKits.com. The Forte community has no idea how lucky it is to have a vendor like that on board and I encourage everyone to keep them in mind when it comes time to turbo your beast
I have traded the Forte in and acquired something much more suited to my style and needs: a 2012 Kia Optima SX Turbo.
This isn't the exact car of mine (since I haven't taken delivery), but it is the same car colour/trim/etc...

Curious, I'm guessing you kept the turbo in the Koup and traded it to the dealership. Did it add very much if any value to the Koup?
The turbo was removed and the car was put back to stock. The turbo kit was sent back to TK, hence my love to TK. They stand behind their products more than any other vendor I've ever seen...

Every time I go down to the dealer for maintenance, I'm always inside one of these while I wait... love how the interior looks and feels! Congrats on the new ride!

The mileage is better on the Optima to for all others interested in switching. I got 32 MPG average out of my Optima SX on a 200 mile drive going 80MPH and only 28 MPG on my EX Hatch going 70 MPH on the same drive.

meh, different speeds, different tires, different weather condition (temp), and different head/tail wind.
PS: not arguing that the optima has better or worse mpg, just saying that the argument doesnt make much sense
