So I figured this would boost morale for those who are betting bored of their fortes or just bored of this forum in general...

I know a lot of us receive compliments for our car, so why not share them with each other? I've gotten compliments from people with exotic cars and even cops. I'll start the thread with a few I got today. Include as much or little details as you would like.

White RSX hit VTEC to catch up with me going down a 2 lane highway, checked out my rear and front, the lined up to me to give a thumbs up, to which I returned

Blue civic passed me as I was parking my car, did a double take, reversed, asked the usual "what is that?" and then "Very nice!" when I tell them it's a Kia.

So there's my compliments for the day. Let's hear what you guys got.

Kid across the street bought a scion tc a month ago just to spite me... I figure that's a compliment in itself. He spent 19k to impress me lol. Too badhe just just lost his license to DWI and crashed into a police cruiser. /Fail

I had a guy in a sexy blue G35 play cat and mouse with me, until he finally caught up through traffic and pulled up next to me and said "That's a nice car!" It made my day.

My boss told me it had nice lines, and my cubicle mate said it was really nice, and was shocked that it's a Kia. Oh, one of my friends said it was cute (she thinks everything is cute). None of those were today, but figured I'd list them. No one really approaches me about my car, but I do see looks. Yesterday I took it in for it's first service, the service guy at the dealer said it was the first 2011 Koup he'd seen, and I've seen no Koups in Wichita, so I feel like I'm in something exotic, there are literally none of them around, at all

one of m favorite:

i was at the end of the mall's parking lot. (like second week i bought it). I park way at the end to avoid dents and such. and a family walked all the way down to the car and kept checking it out for a good 2 minutes, then complimented it.

Nice. Mine's the only none stock one around here. I parked next to a SX sedan today while getting breakfast and wrote "check our forteforums.com" on a piece of paper and stuck it to the windshield. The car left when I came out, I'm assuming he took the paper with him cause it wasn't lying in the parking lot (no trashcan around).

i just got complimented right now on my way home from picking up my sister at a red light
..

he was a fellow forte sedan ex owner

said my koup bumper was sikk , and asked where i got my switchback LED , gave him the website (diodedynamics.com and forteforums.com) and also told him to join our forum

hopefully we hear from him soon

I've had tons of compliments on the Koup

Usually just the basic "that's a really awesome car!" or my favorite "What the heck is that?" lol

Just got mine on Thursday. Amazed at the number of compliments I've got on just a white EX Koup, and nearly everyone has overestimated the cost of the car. Just some 17" wheels and tint is all the EX needs visually IMO.

A Toyota Sprinter Marino tried to race me today on the motorway... eventually caught up with it in a curve and soon enough it was an object loosing in the mirror...

The Koup is really stable with the ESP and this somehow allows you to keep it at high speed even when the road is not that straight... When I finally stopped the driver passed by and nodded I take this as a sign its a good car. Hell is it!!!

"no way is that a Kia", "sick ride, come to this car show!", and my all time favorite......"good race, here's your money!" HAHAHAHAHAHA

I was getting gas and the employee said "Sick car! What kinda car is that!?" I responded with Kia of course. He didn't believe me. I had to open my door up to show him the Kia door panel. He was pleasantly surprised.
