Do forte's have the same springs as the Kia soul?

Looking on kia's website it says both of the cars use MacPherson struts, the only difference being the soul using gas shock aborbers and the koup using monotube shock absorbers. Most car companies re-use similar parts, and i was wondering if there was any way we can figure out if they use the same exact springs, or at least identical struts..

The reason im asking is lets just say they have soul springs online that drop 1.75" for $110...

Yes, they are identical. The Eibach prokit for the forte fits the souls.

Dang if this is true I'd buy some SOUL springs right now. Can someone prove it before I buy? Lol

Looking on eibach's web-site they list the forte koup and sedan spring's as 4617-140 with a drop of 1.2 in front and 1.0 drop in the back. List the soul spring's as 4616-140 with a drop of 1.0 on all four corner's. that's the only difference. if they will work not sure.

I would be careful of using another cars springs, they could have different spring rates and that will affect the cars ride and handling.

No, they are not the same exact springs. These are not the same cars. I dont see these working like you would think. There are alot of cars that use McPherson set ups.

They do fit, who knows if they will work correctly.
