but then youd have to replace your speaker cover thing too cuz the ex model just has a grey plastic cover... unless you just want to put the strip on the outside. i plan on going to an extra parts store by my house and checking to see if they have any soul speakers available or forte sx speakers that light up like that. i think its cool
Let me know if you're able to find something. They're pretty cool although I could go without them but the girl wants them.

A few months ago I had my door panels off, if I remember correctly, I think the speaker cover and lighted ring are part of the door panel. Could be wrong...but pretty sure they don't come off. Wasn't really looking at them to see if they did. The lighted ring may come off but I think the cover is part of the panel. Heck...I don't remember!
Nvm I found out they are only on the american models, that sucks. =/ I'd love to get those. Do you think the dealers would have any info on those if I wanted to buy them here in canada?

You could have your dealership get in contact with a US dealership... Then see what happens... All I can say is GOOD LUCK! :P

I love the speaker lights. I love to show them off when someone new is riding with me. It is like a club on wheels when you set it to the music. It reminds me of high school. I had installed lights under the dash by your feet and under the seats that did the same thing. They would respond to bass in the music.

I also learnt about this after buying; saw it in the manual. Saleman never even mentioned it to me, so I guess it's really not available in Canada...
Gotta say that I absolutely love the strobing speaker lights. It's kind of what made me lean even more towards the SX and I'm so glad I did. I can't wait to get my delivery!!
