Not sure if you checked out the website but he didn't do any of the animation. All you do is pick your characters from a list they have, pick the background from a list they have, and then type what you want them to say. Voila!
ohhhhhhh.. can't check that sight at work. They have all the fun sites blocked.
I used to do traditional 2D hand drawn animation and some computer animation in harmony and maya
