Default 20% tint done



More than anything the point of this thread is to lean people toward 25% or 35% (whatever's available) if you are on the fence and not sure how dark you want to go... cause once you're out of direct sun 20% looks dark as hell. 5% on the back.

yea...tinting the front windshield is highly illegal too. but i have put a 6" upper brow on my most of my past vehicles, might do it on my koup eventually too.

He may have meant the top 6" strip, not the whole window.

Dark tint is not what keeps the heat out... it's UV film alone. You could "tint" all of the windows with the correct clear tint and it would keep the heat down just the same.

Around here some people tint their whole windshields with 50%. you can't even tell its tinted.

i got a glare strip that is past the "line". it is the length of that black line on the window of the rearview mirror

My 20% is already, let's see... 80% over the legal limit. So I see no need to make it worse.
