Around here, Forte's aren't common, not at all which makes what happened today pretty epic.

I pulled into olive garden, found a blue koup. (also extremely rare around here (state college,pa), so i parked beside it, after i parked, i realized there's a THIRD blue koup.

2010 ex
2010 SX (mine)
2011 SX (with Si wing)

I'm the one furthest away with the "MOVE OVER" decal.

and here i'm the one closest to the camera.

epic!!
so far- after owning my koup for 15 months- i've only been able to park next to another forte (not even a koup yet) - 1 time. (and i think it was a rental)

(oh yeah-i can't belive you parked that close to any other cars--- lol- i still park in the farthest spots from any cars or any spaces that anyone would think of parking it.....)

went back and looked at pictures again--- ok=- so what does the windshield of the car next to you say?

Wow, that is sweet!!!! On the road when I'm in my Koup, I've seen only ONE other, a red 2011 SX on the highway, and the dude driving didn't seem to care all that much, but I thought it was sweet. Nice catch Noodile, there are no coincidences!!!!

even before i bought the koup i was looking for the on the road...
never saw one in the 6 months i was pondering buying one.....

i've seen a few (one in st pete, 4 at the 1800callgarry thingy a few times) since i've bought my koup....
but actually seeing a good ole 2 door koup driving down the road.........
nope- not yet.........did see the modified w/blacked out taillights,audi styled head lights,kbadged sedan.....
(w/the locksmith lightup sign on the roof)....actually- i saw that a 2nd time.......whew boy-he had the fake grill sorta things at the door/fender point, had a plastic chrome cross thing up on the C pillar..i almost stopped to talk to him the 2nd time i saw him- but he was doing the car unlock thingy....

i've seen like 10+ koups since buying mine in august 2010. there are like 6 or so at macdill were i work(one there is modded and looks like crap imho, lol). on i-75, seen another at hcc. i've seen "opiewho" driving. 2 other copperhead koups around the area. seen one at riverview. yea, i never seen one prior to buying mine. but i see a heck of a lot of sedans.

i wish there were more koups up here so i didnt feel like all the hondas were not trying to race me for being me..........
(i let them get all excited -- then let them race.......hoping my cop buddies catch them.......lol)

lol.. don't worry, little civics around here always want to race me. i still consider our koups rare though.

Nice photo op, and extremely rare...I thought my pic of parking next to a like for like, 2010 ex sedan was good, they are still rare here in all forms and I havent seen any modded ones yet in town.

It was amazing. definitely made my day.

oh, the one next to me ha "pro cup series" as a windshield decal. Mine is mirrored, so you only read it in your rearview mirror.

worth mentioning. i called my buddy with another blue koup he was 10 minutes away but couldnt swing by.

While we're on the subject...Kinetic gave me a Continental Tire Sport Car Challenge windshield banner...the same one placed on the racing Koups except mine's black and theirs are white. Should I put it on mine? If I do, I'll trim off the excess black parts, just keep enough for the text and keep it as thin as possible without extending pass the A1S line.
