Thumbs down Kia forte ex tire wear issues

I put a set of konig lightning 17x7's on my forte and I went with 215/45R17 tires just like the sx has. Well the first set where a cheap brand (capitol sport uhp)and they all cupped/chopped a little (enough to make alot of noise and give a lite shake) within 1500 miles. So I removed them and put on a set of falken ziex tires on and 500 miles in the same thing is happening. I've only got 6,500 miles on the car total. I just got an alignment thinking maybe it threw it out a little changing the offset and with of the tire (height is the same as if I was running the 15" wheels still) I've only driven about 50 miles since the alinment but I'm just wondering why the heck it's doing this so quickly and badly? The tech (goo friend of mine) said the alignment was bearly out. Any help would be great!

Well try to pickup a used set of Goodyear LS2s or Goodyear GTs. The LS2s are hard to come by, they come stock with most SXs, but most people hear hate them. I had to replace one cause of a eight month old plug failed and I bought a GT cause I couldn't find any used LS2s. KIA wanted $210 for the tire + install. I ordered the GT for $135 shipped and $20 installed.

Then what kind of answer are you looking from us?? Its either your alignment and your tech is wrong, your suspension is blown out or you just have bad driving habits and floor it/take corners too fast.

I drive a little spirited but i take responsibility for my tire wear.

What kind of answer? common since. Has anyone else had this problem? There is no reason a brand new car should be doing this. My tech has done over 100+ alignments for my shop and never have had a come back. I drive like a grandpa so its not the way i drive. Why the hell would my suspension be blown on a brand new car? sorry but there's no way.

You modded your car with aftermarket rims and have problems... Why don't you use some common sense. This is not a common problem with stock or modded cars. Something is wrong with your car and we can't diagnose this issue over an Internet forum

Then whats the point of the hundreds of forums on the internet? to get help for problems, right? correct me if i'm wrong here. Last time i checked there was thousands of posts of people asking for some advice for issues with there car. I'm sick of getting smart ass fucks like you posting on my threads. Go ahead and ban me whoever i could care less. I'm fed up with pricks trying to be smart.

The problem is people like you who when given an answer dont accept it because its not what you want to hear. Your super awsome mechanic who never messes up says your alignment is fine, and tire quality does have alot to do with wear, we can not see your car from the internet and diagnose. You need to use some commen sense!

You want advice...

Put your old wheels and tires back on and see if the tire wear does the same. Take it to the dealer since it is a NEW car. Something maybe bent or broken that the mechanic did not see, or maybe your tires suck.

Your the only dude on here complaining about chipmunks munching on your tires while you sleep. I use Teflon Oil on my bird houses to keep the squirrels off. You should oil up your tires. Problem solved. I is smart.
