Default Problem with my HID

So I recently purchased THESE from a local shop.

Last night I was putting them into my sister's 2010 Forte Sedan EX

Installation wasn't that bad

So I turn them on.
Great they turn on.
30 seconds...
Flicker
Flicker
OFF

I tried both ballasts, both bulbs
Same effect.

Any help is appreciated

Cheap bulbs or cheap ballasts or both.

Did you have the car running when you turned them on? Also is there a AMP hooked up for a sound system?

n1ck, looks like they are still using the old ballest. Most HID know a-days come with the new digital slim version. Good luck bro.

You paid that much for HID's? Wow. you could have bought 4 sets for that price. Either way, that's history now, more than likely a relay & harness will correct the issues. That way it's pulling power right from the battery.

Yikes, do some reading next time please? The old style is way overpriced and way crappier than newer digital ballasts.

A relay harness might fix the issue, or just double check all your connections and make sure they're tight.

The price on the website is not the price I paid

I've used these Kits before
Just because they aren't "slim" doesnt mean they are not digital

Thanks for the help however.
I believe I just need a relay
