FYI -
On my SX, sometimes the TPMS (not the low pressure) light would come up during highway driving, but it would turn off if I shut off the ignition and remove the key.
Perhaps, this defect is due to whatever electrical gremlin I've been having with stereo control could be the issue.
Every couple of months my TPMS light will come on while I'm driving, but then it turns itself off after 10-15 minutes.
That technology still has a ways to go. It would be nice if it could tell you the exact PSI in the tires instead of just letting you know when they are running low on air.

It can, they just don't install it on the Fortes. There are many cars where the display shows the pressure individually in each tire.
2011 Forte SX has one warning light but it acts differently for system problems or low pressure.
If it blinks on and off for 1 minute then stays lit steady it is a system or interference problem. If it immediately illuminates steady, it's a low tire.
There is only one warning light, the ((!)) symbol, no seperate TPMS light on mine. I wish it did, there would be less confusion.

My 2011 AT 2.4 SX Koup (No tek package) has only the one. IDK when they switched, but it is what it is. Just trying to share info.
I was very confused by it when it was flashing for a minute and found the info in my owners manual after posting a thread here and getting both answers about how many warning lights, what they are called ect.
Oh snap!, I just realized I'm in the sedan section. Sorry. That's what I get for looking at all the posts in the forum. Maybe that's the difference since mines a Koup.
