Rim Color and Size Dilemma on my 2015 EX...

Alright, so I have decided to get a set of wheels and tires, but unsure what color or size.

I came across the Drag Wheels DR38 and I really like their design.

My Forte5 is Snow White Pearl and stock ride height.

Let me know what you think.... 17s or 18s? Charcoal Grey or Rally Bronze?

Also, a tire to go with it.... suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Just realized you have a 2nd gen, not a first gen. For some reason, both TireRack and Discount Tires only have pics of 1st gen Forte hatchbacks. So, here's my second attempt:

Still like 18" Bronze

Forgot about the tires suggestion. What are you looking for? All-Season? Summer performance? Long treadlife?

After searching Google and seeing several white vehicles with black wheels, I think I narrowed down the wheels....

It's a toss up between 17" Drag DR38's in black or 17" Motegi MR118's in black.

As for tires, I've been getting suggestions from others to go with Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 - 225/45-17. Yes? No?

I also plan on using my OEM aluminum 16's in the winter.

Well, I made my decision.

I'm going with matte graphite silver Sparco Assetto Gara 18s and Continental Extreme Contact DWS06. I plan to order them up next month in time for the weather to warm up here in Chicago.

I'll post pics as soon as they are installed!

Well, change of plans.... my local dealer was able to get a different wheel for a better price. I ordered the 18x8 Motegi MR119 in flat black with 225/40 Continental Extreme Contact DWS06.

Picture of what they will look like on an SX. AutoAnything only has the Forte5 SX.

I got Drag DR-19s in gunmetal for my Sonata. Quartz White and Snow White are very close. I like the contrast better than the silver ones we had on the 2012. However, my other half still loves the silver ones so they will be installed on the 2016 as soon as they get to my local Discount Tire. Hopefully today.

Silver ones on the 2012. I'll post them on the 2016 as soon as it's done.

Those look clean!

I ended up having to change the type of wheels. Motegi is discontinuing the Mr119 and there is no guarantee any of them will be available in the future if I damage or crack a rim. I opted for the 18" Konig Runlites in matte black instead, with the same Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 225/40. It's a bit of a bummer, not big deal really.

Discount Tire ordered them and they should be ready to install within the week.
