MPG on the 2.0L Engine

Just wondering what kind of MPG everyone is getting on their 2.0 liter. My plans on purchase would be for the 2.0 liter so just wondering what I should expect.

I haven't been perfect with my number crunching and record keeping but I am running about the 28 MPG on my 2.0l EX. Got a mix of city and highway, roughly half and half depending on the week.

2.0L 5spd manual EX - Combined 9.2 l/100km (25.5 mpg) at 60%/40% city/hwy

I'm hoping that it's due to the colder weather and that I'll see better mileage in the summer. Otherwise, I am quite disappointed since my last car had the same mileage (2003 Saturn L200 2.2L 5spd manual), but was a mid-size car!

Yep! I've watched how hard I drive it - keep the ECON light lit whenever possible; however, I still have a tendency to be heavy on the gas more often than not .

Needless to say, I love the mileage I'm getting.

Wow, some good mileage numbers. I guess the biggest thing is watching your driving and keeping that ECON light on hey? I am a good driver and don't drive wrecklessly or anything - from time to time I may drive harder but pretty rarely.

Would be interesting to see some more MPG numbers.

forte ex, about 90/10 city/hwy, and im getting around 25mpg and i rarely see the eco light

forte ex att 28.5 mpg eco on and is going up ,i have just 4k millage 65-75 mph on Hwy(app 2500 rpm max)85-15 H-city

I've had my EX 5 speed since the begining of Sept. and have been keeping track of mpg and have averaged 34.7.

Just thought I'd share my most recent mpg - 35.3! About 75/25 hwy/city, averaging 70mph on hwy.

Forte LX.... 30mpg... 80mph-90mph highway, rabbit starts here and there + hills...

averaging 29.5 80% freeway with one long steep grade. 2.0l with jerky 5sp auto and 1000 miles on it (econo package)

again how do you have a 5pd automatic with the 2.0L?

2.0/ 4 spd Auto
2.0/ 5 spd Man.

2.4/5spd Auto
2.4/6spd Man

Averaging right around 30-31 and that is about 30% city, 60% back roads(35-60mph continous slowing/accelerating frequently) 10% highway
