I'd like to know from someone who has access to the OEM Filter what is the Hyundai P/N listed on it.
I already have on hand a few of the OEM Filters for my other car (Hyundai Elantra 2009), and from the look of it, they could be sharing the exact same OEM Filter with just a different box. Having just one filter type for both car would be really nice.
Those I got for the Elantra are 26300-35503. Now let's see who sells them for less the next time I need filters. The Hyundai dealer charges way too much for them. (12$ each, but this is Canada... everything is pricier for cars)
Saw them too after on ebay... 12$ includes taxes and the washer.
Only one problem with eBay: it has to be from a canadian seller to be cost effective. Otherwise once you add customs (8$ to evaluate/collect the fee + 15% taxes + Possible duty % since they're not Mex/Can/USA made), it begins to be pretty expensive.
I'll probably get a 10 pack of those shipped on the US side and bring those back on my next US summer trip. I found a place (Freeport Forwarding) that can keep a box for a small 3$ fee just near the border.
Yup... that the way things work when we try to get things shipped cross-border from USA on eBay. Sucks big time isn't it? And don't get me started on the "Broker Charges" added to the bill if we used Fedex/UPS instead of USPS.
