Wow not even close to being similar cars. I've driven Hondas and I own a koup SX now and I love my Kia. I also like how the ad seems to compare different trims when it's more convienent for them. The lx doesn't have ____, but the SX does. Or the ex doesn't have ___ but our crz does. It's a misinformed comparison to try to fool people who don't bother to look into the pros and cons of their cars. I'm sure the crz is a nice like hybrid sporty thingamajig but I'll take my koup anyday

I don't know why anyone would buy a CR-Z simply because you can't see *anything* unless it's straight behind or in front of you, so good luck checking your blind spot CR-Z owners. One look out the back or side and all you see is a mountain of plastic... I tested a couple before buying my Koup... talk about impractical!

There's even a 13-page thread about it -- some of these posts sound like instruction manuals just to make sure you're not side swiping somebody.

Mmmm... plastic

My forte has DRL's... why does that webpage say no DRL's?

better yet.. why are they mentioning Canadian studies on an American website? in Canada your car HAS TO HAVE DRL's so it's not really a benefit over the forte.. either way I'm so sick of Honda's i've owned 3 and articles like this have no significance.

Peak torque at 1000rpm (CR-Z)
Peak torque at 4000/4300rpm (SX/EX)
Uh... Why would you ever compare torque specs of an Electric motor to a Gas motor. It's like saying chickens fly better than elephants... NO SH*T! Lol

I didn't read this thread because I really thought it would be some story about a CR-Z racing a Forte.... really thought it would be a joke. It's absolutely hilarious. To be honest, I can't believe that this dealership actually would have customers...

Reliability
The engine in the CR-Z has a single overhead cam for simplicity. The engines in the Forte have dual overhead cams, which add to the number of moving parts and the complexity of the cylinder heads.

I'd like to see someone in Honda read how bad of an idea that a DOHC engine is. That is since the Civic Si comes with one... FAIL

SMH... Gotta love morons who don't don't know anything trying to explain cars lol.. But seriously, what is with Honda anyways? Like the new CRV and Civic have 5-speeds.. Should be 6-speed.

The engine bay in a CRZ is filled with knick knacks and a bunch of signs telling you no touchy or risked being blown up from awesomness!

Even the Regular Civic gets almost identical milage without having a hybrid system. Honda what's the point?

Still not as bad as the comparisons this fool at toyota makes for corolla vs elantra

2011 Hyundai Elantra vs 2011 Toyota Corolla - YouTube
WOW!! This guy lost credibility with me in the first 10 seconds. He kept referring to the elantra as the sonata?! I like the point...while the "sonata" has more power and gets better gas mileage, you will be losing money when you trade it in. My thought it, most people would keep their Elantra and would be trading in the Corolla. People will do anything to increase sales....smh
