Warranty
The CR-Z's 5 year corrosion warranty has no mileage limitations, but the corrosion warranty on the Forte runs out after 100,000 miles.
There are over 61 percent more Honda dealers than there are Kia dealers, which makes it much easier to get service under the CR-Z's warranty.
WHAT A JOKE!
The only thing they could beat them on paper in warranty is corrosion; which is dumb since the average person drives between 10-15K miles a year which makes the Fortes warranty 7-10 years.
Plus KIA offers in because the engines are still being R&D and want to keep us happy.
IDK why compare them either, the CRZ is no where near the same class, compare a civic and lets see who is better there.
SMH! My best friend owns one and I would like it, if it wasn't a terrible Hybrid. If I can get 34MPG on the highway and he can muster 38MPG then I would much rather keep twice the motor then he has. I actually raced him with a rolling start and he got womped. KIA isn't known to be very techy to begin with and I don't expect them to have fancy air bag sensors, I was even surprised the passenger airbag turns off by itself. I like the dash in the CR-Z but there is a lot going on and a lot of buttons. PLUS! The stock radio, has no pause or stop lol

I'll chime in here. I love it how they are making DOHC look like a negative when it's 100% a positive thing for a car to have... I second it being a 2 seater and there should be no comparison made here. The Forte puts up pretty good MPG numbers compared to the CR-Z at only 3 MPG less for a much larger car, I'll take the comfort over the savings.
I'm not reading any more. As soon as they said DOHC was a negative it sold it for me.
The CRZ is a joke IMO. Like a lot of people have said before, its neither a good sporty car nor a good eco car. If you want a sporty car, then get a Forte, Mazda 3, etc. If you want an eco car, get a TDI or Elantra, or one of those other 40MPG cars.
Yea I think I figured out why they compared them, simply because they are roughly in the same price range. But they totally omitted the fact that the Forte was a bigger car. It's Honda, selling stuff

Yea probably. Even in Price (both with a manual), the Koup EX is roughly $2300 less and the SX is $1000 less..
Even the Regular Civic gets almost identical milage without having a hybrid system. Honda what's the point?
Still not as bad as the comparisons this fool at toyota makes for corolla vs elantra
