I drive mine pretty hard, i tend to race a lot on the interstate since I commute to work 50 miles one way, so I get kinda bored, so if I see a car worth racing and they are up for the challenge I usually drop it to 3rd (4500-5000 RPM) and give 3 beeps of the horn and it sees the red line (6500 RPM) in 3rd and 4th gear, and pull to about 120-125 MPH before I let out of it, so I would say I drive her pretty hard, but I enjoy hearing the sound of the engine change pitch as it enters into the VVT (Variable Valve Timing) power band, and taking it to her limits. she seems to be holding up just fine....knock on wood! I use penzoil platinum full synthetic oil and change it every 5000 miles so even though I drive her hard I take care of her! looking forward to adding some performance upgrades and seeing some more power out of the 2.4L!
I run mine hard but not at high speeds just hard acceleration. I rly like the high 2nd and 3rd gear RPM power and it shows cuz I'm averaging 13 mpg's as of last night lol whatev
Hard enough i make a 40 mile commute in under 30 minutes and get about 19mpg highway...

My #1 isn't any sillier than half the "#3 in NA"s on here.
Pretty hard sometimes, lol. Especially around town. I like it when it upshifts at higher speed, the 6 speed makes it feel and sound faster than it really is, bahaha. I've carried it to about 6200 RPM (the tachometer says, not sure if it was fully accurate) a few times, never had a problem. The 2.4 seems pretty well built.

Iim at 32,000 miles and my second set of tires is already almost done. I corner more than "speed". Avergae 26mpg city and Highway. I accelerate full throttle every now and then(4-5 times a week) Don't usually exceed the speed of 100mph. I would rather avoid the hefty tickets. :P I would say I drive her pretty hard, I'm more afraid of my struts or something related to the suspension or tires going bad then the motor..

I do most of my driving in the city so not hard at all...I actually baby it as much as I can. When I get out of the city on to some nice curvy back roads though, I like to push it
