6 months old Kenwood eXcelon's for Forte Sedan front and back doors!

Hello everyone,

I've just finished all my upgrades and will be selling the speakers I replaced the stock one's with.

Kenwood's top of the Line eXcelon series 6.5" components and coaxials.

Reason for selling: Upgraded again to JL Audio C5-650's in the front and Boston Acoustics Pros in the back (stay tuned for install pics)

Fronts:

Kenwood - KFC-X1720P

and

Kenwood - KFC-X172

These sounded excellent both with the stock deck powering them (easily handled anything the stock deck could send to them, and with a JL audio 300/w firing 75 wrms to them.

These are a fantastic upgrade to the stock speakers and most dealers would likely charge 100-120 to swap these with the stocks. You will easily notice a difference in the quality over the paper 30W max stock speakers, especially in the Highs and Lows.

I'm interested in dealing locally in the Toronto area.

The speakers will include everything that they needed to be installed in a Forte Sedan, save a the mounting screws which most installers should have. The tweeters have no mounting hardware and they were easily hot glued in place behind the existing grills.

These were installed and then removed by a Kenwood dealer.

These speakers retails for over $450 CAN for all four. I'd be willing
to let them go for $250.

Good! Keep us posted about you're sound system. and upload a video or walk around if you already installed you're sound system. Just want to ask. I am living here in Toronto, Ontario also. (Scarborough) just wanna ask how much did you got you're forte EX including taxes and freight?

Swapped out the fronts to the more powerful JL Audio C5-650's, swapped the rears out for Boston Acoustic Pro 6.5LFs with Neo5t Tweets (yep tweets in the rears!) My single JL 10w6v2 has a new twin, and they're both powered by their own JL 500/1 amp. Power has it's own boost with the addition of a Kinetic HC600, and EQing is covered by an AudioControl EQS.

The entire interior, save the floor, firewall and ceiling has been sound deadened with RaamMat.

Tonight or tomorrow, the pics will go up!
