You can have the button installed in any position that you like and seeing as you've never actually touched it, I don't see how you can say it feels cheap.

I agree that the installation could be more professional but that has nothing to do with the unit itself. If you look at the video linked above, it looks almost stock.

You can customize the sounds to your preference.

I agree with you on the sounds and the location. What I am going to do is get the key cut and the cut it down to we're it barlly sticks out and cover the whole ignition to make it look like it was never there. And then put the push button where the stock push in the tech package goes. As for the sounds I am hoping in the next month or so they come out with a better audible sounds for when you arm it.

I'm really wanting this now! Did you post where you bought it? I may have over looked it.

From research I've done, a lot of 350 Z owners installed them on their own. They were all automatic owners though. I would expect manuals to have a bit of trouble with the remote start wiring because of the clutch bypass.

Get it! I thought Smart key and push button was silly until I got this car. Now I wouldn't buy a new car without it.

You actually dont have to do a clutch bypass on the car unless you want to start the car without being in it. For example starting the car from your living room. Im not great with wiring diagrams so i had my shop do it for me. this is a link to where i bought it from
Wooriel Shop
