Default Line Out Converter

Trying to install a LOC and I am a little confused. I attached a picture to what I believe is right. Can anyone confirm this is right or do i have this all wrong.

I am trying to run all 4 new speakers off an amp i picked up and I am keeping the factory deck.

The picture leaves out some power connections and remote connection but i have that figured out. It is the speaker wiring im confused with.

Here is the link for the LOC:

Well judging from a quick peak at the pdf of the LOC....your amplified speakers will not have a front or rear control. Only a left and right. As you loc is only a 2 channel.

Your diagram is also missing the connection from your loc to your amp. Is your amp a 4 channel or a 2 channel. If it is a 4 channel...then your fronts will receive no source signal.

Hope this makes sense. If not just ask away.

It is a 2 Channel amp. The guy at the car audio store insured me i can power all four speakers with the 2 channel amp. I didnt show the connection from the LOC to the amp because i had that part figured out. The only part im confused on is the speakers.

Do I run all speakers to the amp? The wires for the rear speakers that come from the deck will go to the LOC and the fronts will just be snipped and capped? is that correct?

If you want to run all speakers from the amp then yes they all go to the amp. However you will not have a FADE control (front vs rear) you will only have a BALANCE control (right vs left).

You can run as many speakers as you like of one amp within reason and it depends on how you hook them up ie. series vs parallel, it also though depends on the Impedance of the speakers.

The best thing you can do...is list the type of speakers you have with their specs (or are you using the original speakers), & the amp specs.

Then I or others can make better recommendations.

Here is what I have, not the best product but it has to be better than stock, which is all I am looking for.

Amp:
Renegade REN550S 550W 2 Channel Power Car Amplifier

6.5" Coaxial Speakers (2 Pair):
Renegade RX62 6.5" 3-Way RX Coaxial Car Speakers

LOC:
PAC SNI-45T (sni45t) High Power 2-Channel Line Output Converter

Hopefully this will help with understanding what I am trying to hook up. Like I said, i was told this will work for what I want. Not looking to be heard coming down the street or anything. Just a better sound the stock Kia speakers.

Well from a quick look you will be best to wire your speakers in parallel for a 2ohm load, amp will supply 135 watts, so you will need to turn back your gains just a little. now you have to decide if you want FADE or BALANCE and wire accordingly.

That is my suggestion.

I am thinking of beginning my build today. Searched and this was the best I could get and most relevant to what I want to do. I am not new into audio installation but have only done it with aftermarket HU with built in amps.

PLANS:
Keep stock non navigation/UVO head unit.
4 channel 200W amp with sub pre amp out.
2 channel 1000W amp for subs

Questions:
I found a 4 channel LOC and want to know where would be the best place to mount it?
Do I just cut the current wiring and heat wrap the LOC to the factory HU harness?
Once the LOC is connected to the amp via RCA do I just run the amp to the old wiring, post cut, and heat wrap?
Is it possible to run one 8 gauge wire with a 60 amp fuse to power both amps or should I get to wiring kits?

Here is a wiring diagram I found for a 4 channel line out converter to a 4 channel amplifier. (Fully written out for future searches =] lol)

Try your glove box for easy tuning. Mine is in the back of the radio and I really don't feel like taking the radio out again lol

glove box is the easiest. Just tap into the factory harness for the LOC.

Mounting behind the glove box will simple.

From the amp do I just run it back to the stock wiring or should I attempt to lay out new wiring?

when I had an LOC, I tapped into the fronts (had a 2 channel LOC), left the rear for rear fill, went from the loc to a line driver/EQ and from there to my amps.

Would this be a good LOC?
Axxess AX-ALOC648 (axaloc648) 4-Channel Adjustable Line Level

I've also decided to use this 5 channel amp instead of two different amps.
