I installed the Kappas in the front and just realized how SHIT the head unit is... any form of bass whatsoever causes the speakers to clip. I'm guessing the HU runs out of juice and starts pumping out garbage. Going to throw in a 4ch Alpine amp tomorrow and hopefully the stock deck will then suffice for now. If anyone has any thoughts on this please share.
the amp will help for sure. More continuous power.. I'd advise changing out your rear speakers to Infiniti's as well.
Infiniti much like clarior isn't made for bass though, hope you know that.
CLEAR crisp sound.. not crazy distorted bass
Ideally.. when you have upgraded components on an amp, you dont need to have ANY bass settings turned up.

Yea, i think the perfect sound system shouldn't have any bass coming from the speakers anyways. I amped them and they do sound amazing, next is the sub.. just trying to decide if i'm going to remove the spare and do the whole trunk or just throw a box in there.. bahh
I'd just throw a box in there, I had a custom made box that had a tube going through it where id put my strut bar, once that was bolted down that box didnt BUDGE!

I had a piece of piping installed through my box, it fit my strut bar trough it. So when it was bolted down, the box didn't budge.. And good luck stealing them. They would get punched out before stolen.

It's not as easy as most cars but it's not hard either. Kind of depends on if you want to use the stock spacer or not as well. The harness will require some cutting/stripping but it's nothing too difficult.. just make sure you have the time to play with it
I amped the Kappas and they sound phenomenal.. just thought I would share that. Went with a kicker 12" L7 in the trunk on a mono kicker amp as well.. didn't want too much bass for this car.. with nice speakers one 12" is more than enough... more is just overkill. Taking the car apart on the weekend to apply some sound deadener EVERYWHERE.
