Default iPod connectivity volume issue

Right now I just have my iPhone connected to play music through a regular auxiliary plug, and I don't have the actual Kia dual aux/USB plug. My music seems really quiet. Has anyone had this issue? Will the dual plug fix it?

Also, with the dual USB/aux can I use the car controls for my iPhone music (ie skipping songs, and showing info on the display, etc.)?

What you'll want to do is have the volume on the iPhone no louder than 75% so you wont distort the sound over the system. However this will not improve the volume you are getting from actually getting.

To fix the volume issue you will need the USB/AUX input form KIA, I got one off ebay for $12.00 shipped. New Genuine OEM Hyundai Kia iPod Cable | eBay

You will have full steering wheel control when using this cable and the volume and clarity is far superior than BlueTooth or stand alone AUX.

And to answer your question, yes, you can use all functions when connected via the Kia USB cable. Like Bryan said, the volume and clarity is 100% through the Kia cable.

Ok. Thanks. That's what I suspected I just didn't want to spend the money and be disappointed.
