Funny you bring that up because I just told my manager that my Koup sometimes won't connect the bluetooth automatically? Annoyingly I have to connect it manually. I also have the iphone 4. I've tried resetting the system from the head unit but that really didn't help, maybe by disconnecting the battery it will completely reset the system? I'm going to ask my service manager and get back to you.

I have a Droid Bionic and it does it to me sometimes as well. Out of the times that it doesn't though, I'd say that usually it's because I don't have the Bluetooth turned on, on the phone before turning on the car.

Happen today with my Android phone. I connected it manually and it connected automatically just fine after that. Happens to me once in a blue moon.

Glad to know its not just me.. It's been doing it to me for over a week now. I have to reconnect the phone to the koup every time I'm in the car... Kinda sucks after getting spoiled and not having to take the phone out of my pocket.

Have you deleted the phone entry and re-paired it?

I went in yesterday because my bluetooth stopped recognizing names and calling. The guy at the dealership said this has been a big issue the last month or so and Kia is working on a software upgrade for this.

Truly tried resetting the system in the audio car dvd player but that actually didn't help, Any problems I hear about seem to be from people who set up their iPhones from an older iPhone backup (restore) as opposed to setting up as a new iPhone.
Only a thought.
