Post some updates in about a month please.

I might do this just because the textured matte finish is so hard to keep clean...

Just wondering vassabee, did you sand the diffuser, then prime/paint it? Or maybe use the paint that bonds to plastic with a clear coat? Let us know!

Beat me to it. Looks good though. Did you not paint the whole thing because you didn't want to or for any other specific reason?

jpskoup: this was done at a service. they first primed it with "plastoflex" then painted it with regular paint.

depr84: the whole black plastic is painted gloss black, it might not be visible on the photos, but the whole thing is painted.

Thanks.

How much did it run you? Did they take it off for you or did you take it off for them?

all in all I paid 80$ and it took 2 days (they're my brother's friends) they took the bumper off, separated the diffuser, primed/painted it, then assembled back.

Before koup I had a VW golf IV of 2000y. Its front and rear bumper plastics also were painted this way and even after 11 years they looked great !!
