Default Projector w/ HID bulbs

So, I've got to ask...How many of you have seen these lights advertised?

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

The product says it ships with the main light bulbs. Of course, I love the "halo/angel eyes" look.

The question - can you put HID bulbs in these headlight assemblies? Better yet, has anyone tried this?

I'm curious - fire away...

Alright - so question one answered. You have done this!

1-Nice pictures! I like the look, and the 2nd pic was what I had hoped to see.
2-Which HID bulbs did you end up ordering?
3-Which Manufacturer?
4-Did you have to drill/modify anything on the headlight for the HID conversions?
5-Are the "LED" portions of the headlight assembly tied to the running/parking lights, meaning, the running/parking lights have to be in the on position for the LED's to work?

It isn't mine lol. I believe all the info you need is in that thread though. It's been a while since I read it.
But when I do my projector HID conversion I'll be using these HIDs.

50W ballast with 50W 5000K bulbs. I'm waiting for the new version to come out though.

What's your preference for the 50w compared to 35w?
