Default Painting stock wheels

I'm thinking about painting the silver part of my stock sx wheels gold. What do you all think? Too Subaru? Mine is Corsa Blue.
Note: Stock photo, not my actual car (Photoshop done by me)

Yea I like it too I'd be interested to see how it turns out, I think you should go with a darker, more goldy gold, if that makes sence

each to their own dude, but in my opinion that looks hideous. too... yellowy...

Gold's luster changes based on the lighting and it's purity. IMO you want this shade... Also, i'd say lose the inserts and just paint the wheels.

To Subaru? I was not aware there was such a thing. Blue/Gold looks good allways. Blue/black maybe 40% of the time. Too matching looks cheap and rice, compliment the colors.

Just thought I'd post this. Look at the shine he got on these. I'm not sure if that's cause they are still wet, but they look nice. Not saying the colour is the best for a blue car, but the paint/technique might be helpful.

Thanks for the input everyone. Are the inserts themselves actually removable?
