YOu have to be a little rough with it ( not too rough) . Get one tab started and pull that section away from the vent. Then use something as a wedge so it doesn't snap back into place and move on to the other tabs. This is a frustrating process, but if you have some patients it will be a much better finish. I'll try to make a video, but my computer is acting up so all I have right now is my iphone
