This isn't really a Noobie Question but it didn't seem to fit anywhere else so I'm putting it here.
I've come to notice that Kia has (at least) 3 different factory grilles for the Forte:
First is the most obvious unique one: the Koup grille. This has a "squished honeycomb" look to it and was used for all 2010 thru 2013 first gen Koups (EX and SX). And because of the different front facsia, the lower grille will not interchange with the sedan and hatchback front fascia. So if you want to use the Koup grille on a sedan or hatchback, the upper and lower grills will not match unless you change the entire front facsia/bumper (fenders and headlight too I believe).
The second is probably the most common: the 2011-2013 sedan and hatchback grille. This is what I call the "computer circuit board" pattern grille used on all 2011 thru 2013 first gen sedans (LX, EX and SX).
Last is the most rare: the 2010 grille. This is a diamond pattern that appears recessed like the Koup grille and seems to be used on all 2010 first gen sedans (LX, EX and SX).
Are there any other factory grille designs I'm missing for the first gens?
I think I prefer the look of the 2010 grille best. However, changing the grille on my 2011 means getting not only the upper grille but the lower center grille as well as the 2 outer, lower grilles by the fog lights.
