For anyone wondering I contacted IPT in Hawthorne ,NJ about the 5 speed trans upgrades needed and prices.
"You would at a minimum want to have the valve body upgraded/modified,we can also rework the torque converter or a full build of the transmission, pricing would be as follows:
1) IPT Performance valve body upgrades/modifications. $489
Koupsx, does this also work for the 6spd auto??? I want to beef up the engine for this car. Especially forge internals! Just don't know where to go for all this..?
You should be okay without these. I asked him what it would take to strengthen the 5 speed auto trans for max 10psi and he gave me that list. I'm sure if you email him and asked him about 10 psi for the 6 speed, he'd give you a smaller list because your trans already can handle a good bit of boost, not 100% on how much. I also cant see a reason why anyone would exceed what TK is telling you.
If you'd like an email address (sales@importperformancetrans.com), I believe his name is Ty, or at least he signed it as Ty lol

Your forgetting the Mustang DYNO. These DYNOs are typically seen as low reading DYNOs or "The HeartBreaker" as they are called. We are getting the 6AT before and after percent by the 1st run. The car is rated at 173 from KIA and it ran 130 at the wheels. 130 / .75 = 173. So 232 / .75 (same ratio) gets you to 309.3, so us rating it at 300HP is actually underrating it

I just can't go stock, if it's 2wd lower it if it's 4wd then lift it.

Those are some pretty damn impressive numbers I'm going to be picking up my '10 Koup SX in a week as long as nothing else catches my eye. I would definitely see myself doing this after the warranty is up.
Thanks for the interest, let us know if you have any questions in the meantime!

guess this will void the warranty for the vehicle right?
Aha. Of course it will. But I'm basically promoting my car in my area and they said they would look after me if anything goes wrong! I gave my dealership so much flipping business it's not even funny lol so I'm covered for warranty!😃
