Default Motor Mounts/Intake system

Hello, I'm gauging interest to see if there is people interested in motor mounts with stronger bushings and an Intake system that includes an air by pass valve for the forte?

All mounts will be made out of high grade billet aluminum material machined to the tightest tolerances. All mount bushings are made with 50% more urethane giving you the least amount of vibrations when compared to stock. These engine mounts are the lightest on the market with 75a durometer bushings.

The Intake system the air by pass valve is for the people looking to gain horsepower and under flooding conditions not destroy their engine. The intake system on the market now are good for power but the air filter sits low in the engine bay that any flood conditions on the road with suck water directly into the engine. Using a air by pass valve with eliminate this from happening when water is sucked up the pipe the air by pass valve will suck in the air while the water drains out. The price of this intake system will be competitive with the current companies on the market for the koups.

I'm trying to break into the koup market and would like to see if anyone would purchase motor mounts and intake system for the forte.

Thank You to the administrator for allowing me to post this thread!!!!

Will the motor mounts also reduce the engine movement? Currently the engine jumps around quite a bit.

Yes, the purpose is to reduce the vibrations and the engine from moving around.

What is the ballpark cost for these engine mounts? I am very interested along with others on getting AM engine mounts but it will depend, for me, on the cost.

How do you reduce vibrations with stiffer mounts/bushings? I know our stock bushings are very soft, making them stiffer will increase vibrations while reducing engine movement.

Not necessarily. Different materials have different properties when dealing with vibrations.

I'd be interested in both, especially the intake w/ bypass for when I move down to Florida.

+16 on the mounts. I don't have the ability to leave my car down for a day to take out the stockers and fill them.

not to try and ruin this but isn't it easier and cheaper for people to just buy a bypass and make their own intake?

There are different types of bushings and grades. You have polyurethane, urethane, and rubber which is the stock bushings the koup has currently.
Then you have the different types of grades that provide more support and based on the durometer you use it absorbs the vibration.

Motor movement decreases stability in high performance driving conditions and makes rapid gear selection difficult. Furthermore, excessive flex in the drive train can damage components connected to the motor, pulling on wiring and various lines.

The pricing for the mounts are going to run about $120-$130 each and this will include shipping. However, this all can change based on demand.
