Default Recall section

Can't see any information on current Forte recalls? I think it would be a good idea to add that sub-section? JMO

Cheers

Actually there are A few. One is the rubber/bushing on the control arm or strut... As per the dealers comments. There were a few others like radio software changes for certain issues, and a tranny one I think.

I can only think of one recall - for the drivers seat belts on the sedan. The others are TSBs -- not important enough to be a safety issue but written to take care of when you bring your car in for other servicing.

You can go directly to Kia Global Information System, register, and then keep up with all campaigns (recalls) and TSBs on any Kia.

It finally showed up in my inbox.

What a great site! Why don't all car manufacturers do this??? (Don't need to answer, I know... )

FF73- its all in there- one complaint i have about the kgis site is that its a bit ackward to navigate- but once you figure it all out- oh man oh man the things you can find

not only the wiring diagrams, but pictures of what the harnesses look like- and drawings of the plug configurations....and on and on.....on this website alone- kia has proven themselves light years ahead of the other companies out there

In the "model" I click on the carat to the right and get a drop down of all the cars and then select "forte". I don't know why you can't select the Forte?

Also, to get the wiring diagrams you'll have to have the latest version of adobe reader (a pop up will appear asking if you want to download). I found the windows XP version works on windows 7.
