Signature with offsite PIC

Ok, when I make a thread, I have the option to insert an image by using the yellow box with mountains and sun.

It says 31.7, but venture it will change on my next fill up as it should.
But that option is not there when I edit my signature.
I can use the bottom feature to upload the image, but I have to do that every time I fill up my car, if I want the image to be updated.

EDIT: I have since uploaded a new SIG pic, so now they match

If the location of the image, and the image name stays the same, but the image itself changes, then you should not have to change the picture after the first time. I think

In the bottom part of the sig editor window add "http://www.fuelly.com/smallsig-us/65845.png" into

http://mefi.us/images/fuelly/smallsig-us/76993.png

"Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website"

Click "Upload"

It will show up above where you pasted the link but below the editor window.

Next to the image click "Insert Signature Picture"

Click "Save Signature"

Where this one says "http://www.fuelly.com/smallsig-us/65845.png" you need to replace it with your direct link to your fuelly pic on their website.

For some reason your pic is linked to "http://www.forteforums.com/forums/signaturepics/sigpic3391_5.gif" and that's wrong. That's why it doesn't change.

That's the exact process I followed.

Did Upload and insert into SIG
I end up with

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

at the bottom of my SIG, but it doesn't seem to update with the image changes.

Maybe I just didn't wait long enough for the image to update here.

As you can see if you review my first post, the image I inserted into the thread updated when I got gas today. My SICPIC, did not.

I added your fuelly to my sig. Worked for me...

Right, and if I go back in and add the exact same URL back in, it will upload the new image. The problem is, it is now static file uploaded to forteforums.com and not reading the file from fuelly. I'll go upload the same URL now, and it will "update". I just don't want to have to do this every time I fill up.

You don't want to upload a static image. Just insert this code into the signature box.

Doesn't work. As of yet I see no way to add a dynamic picture to your SIG.

Well maybe...see inspecting the code that the image source seems to be local but the alt text and title are fuelly's.
