Default Lose the enormous FOTM pictures on the front page

I know they eventually resize, but sweet jeebus that first load is annoying if you're just trying to look down at the recent posts. Put up some thumbnails or link to a FOTM specific page.

I set my bookmark to the active topics URL, then you don't have to, and you go right to recent topics, just like you want.

Yes yes there are workarounds...but google does take page load time into account when ranking. The forum will rank lower in search results with a slow home page load time.

I agree. Massive pictures are just annoying. Does not one follow online etiquette anymore? If your photos take up my 24" 1920x1200 monitor, you're doing it wrong.
