Back in mid August I ordered a front tower bar from them. I had to pay at that point and they told me it would be about 4 weeks and I would get an email with shipping details. I was away for my wedding for 2 weeks and as of monday, 9 weeks since ordering, I have not received any emails from them. I have tried contacting them via their website, email and phone but have not received any response. I've given them until tomorrow to get back to me or I'm putting in a dispute with Paypal. Quite honestly their customer service is so bad I don't think I even want the bar anymore. Hopefully I can get my money back. I will never order from them again, ebay is cheaper and quicker. Buyer beware.

Yikes. I would have said "Screw you 4 weeks is too long, gimme my money back." If they sold it to you on eBay they would have had a much shorter amount of time to ship it. Usually eBay will give the seller a week before hammering them with emails, after which they automatically refund your money if they don't ship within a certain amount of time. I always use eBay with sketchy companies.

I didn't know they were on ebay until after I ordered. I wasn't too concerned about a 4 week wait as I had other things to do to the car. Now I'm just worried about getting my money back. I wonder if they went out of business.

That sucks. I am with autoitking on this...as I usually use sources like ebay and amazon. Although if I found something I really wanted and was pressed for time, I would probably order it from the first source as long as the price was reasonable. I hope the situation resolves itself quickly.

I thought these guys would be reputable but apparently I was wrong. Tried calling a couple of times today but they don't answer their phone. I'll put in a dispute with Paypal tonight. Sucks that I have to do that. I just hope nobody else here ever orders from them.

Sorry to read about your experience with them.

I always found them to be very good with their communication.

Maybe something happened to one of the people responsible for your shipment or something! I just find this unusual as I had very good communications with them on several occasions before and after the purchase of their bars. That is all.

I've had a similar experience with another parts supplier for a another car and I also became very frustrated to the point that my credit card company was going to get a very serious letter from me. I waited and gave him the benefit of the doubt and sure enough, the owner was sick (and in the hospital nonetheless) and his wife simply could not keep up with the demand. It all worked out at the end and I waited an extra month for the parts. It wasn’t the end of the world for me even though it was during the summer time and I would have loved to add installed the parts while the car was out.

I'd hold off and see if someone gets in touch with you this week.
Just a suggestion.

Well Ultra Racing finally got back to me. They said their sales manager was out sick for the last 3 weeks and wasn't answering emails. It turns out the bar had shipped at the beginning of October and arrived at my post office on October 10. I was away for two weeks for my wedding and honeymoon but the post office didn't even try to deliver it for some reason. I called yesterday and the box was sitting there so my wife went and picked it up for me. So now the part is sitting in my kitchen waiting to be installed which will hopefully be today.

While Ultra Racing Canada's communication was poor at first they did get better and I did get my bar.

What an odd ending, but at least it worked out.

Shame on them for not keeping on top of things. If I left for 3 weeks without having a backup plan I'd come back to no job, emergency leave or not.

Glad you got everything okay, that definitely sucks to wait that long of a period of time. I was speaking to Throwdown Performance about getting a set for my new Forte since I had a full kit on my last car and loved it. They said they have them in stock so I'll probably be ordering those today for my new toy
