Default Will these fit??

Hey,

Im about to buy some used rims and want to ensure proper fit.

I have the SX sedan, 17" stock rims .

I want to get these put on:

MSR Style 044 - 18" x 8", offset is +42mm (on the MSR website)...guy Im buying from said "offset is M/H to clear larger disc brakes"...?

With 225-45-18 tires.

Im concerned the tires will be too big as I thought size needed would be 225 (or 215) - 40 - 18

Anybody know if I'll have problems other than a small difference in the speedometer?

Thanks!

actually spoke to someone in parts at kia dealership today, said anything over 17 (forte goes up to 17 stock) could interfere with wheel speed sensor for abs system, which would make the abs system think there was a lockup issue when there wasn't, causing some very annoying braking.

lol, forget about what he said.

keep the overall wheel/tire diameter the same and things will be alright.

I know about the tire size calculators, was more specific to this particular rim (ie, will the offet etc fit)...

well, picking them up tomorrow, so I'll find out for sure.

Pics to come
