TweetWinter rims for 2011 EX - standard 16" steel rims won't work
Just thought I would pass this on. I tried to get 16" winter tires with steel rims installed this past weekend. This was at Canadian Tire and they could not find any steel rims that would not rub on the brake caliper. I called a Kia dealership and they confirmed that 15" rims were required. Haven't actually got the 15" rims installed yet but it seems others have but couldn't find confirmation that their models were 2011 or older.
I had 16" installed in my 2011 SX with no issue, but the original size is 17" and I couldn't go lower than 16" otherwise I would have incurred in the same issue as you.
