What kind of tires are recommended for the Forte EX?

The tires that came with mine are not the greatest. They slip when taking off in wet conditions and they're somewhat noisy.

What would anyone recommend to reduce road noise, reduce slipping in rain, and maintain good handling?

I see you're in Texas. I'd recommend a good set of summer tires but don't go too expensive (it is still a Kia after all)

Do you have the optional 16" rims? or the 15" steels?

195/65R15 < 15"
205/55R16 < 16"

I am in far northeast San Antonio in Selma, TX. If I'm not mistaken my Forte has the 16". I'll check as soon as I get off work.

we replaced our stock tires after only only having the car for 9 months, brand new from the dealership, but we got kumho all season. sliced thru a puddle of rain.
